 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 Read the Installation and Licensing Command Line User Guide and the 
 IAR Light License Manager Release Notes for more information.
 
 If you have the IAR License Server Tools v2.18.3 installed, an uninstallation 
 is required before updating to later versions of IAR License Server Tools:
 
 $sudo dpkg --remove license-server-tools


 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 
 -------------------
 
 A Pentium-compatible PC. Only 64-bit are supported.
 At least 2 Gbyte of RAM, and 600 Mbytes of free disk space.
 Adobe Acrobat Reader to access the product documentation.

 The following operating systems are supported by the IAR License Server Tools:

 Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
 Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
 RedHat Enterprise Linux 9

 Note: To install products from IAR Systems, you must have administrator
 privileges to the system.

 The IAR License Server Tools now use Sentinel RMS License Server version 10.2.

   Installation and Licensing User Guide for Linux.

 2.18.2 - 26 May 2021
   The IAR Light License Manager is now built with Sentinel RMS
   libraries version 9.7.0.

   A new option --features is available to show the license feature usage with
   the nwlics command.

   Improved license setup with more options, use --help for more details.

   Remote access to use lightlicensemanager is allowed, for example via an SSH
   client terminal.

   Other program corrections.

   [LMS2-701] The IAR Light License Manager cannot checkout any features if the
   client is on a different subnet than the server.

 2.17.3 - 3 June 2020:
   New commands added to the IAR Light License Manager:
     init:
       Initializes the license system.
     get_diagnostics:
       Collects diagnostic information.
     deactivate:
       Deactivates the product license from the computer.

   [LMS2-656] The IAR Light License Manager on Linux can now renew licenses
   on a server even if any feature of any license is checked out by any user.
